Day 118: PhET pH was pHun

Thank you U of Colorado for PhET and the simulations my students are able to play with in class to better understand concepts. Teaching about hydronium ion concentration with can be a challenge with all levels of students and they had lots of “a-ha” (get it, “a-HA”) moments yesterday as they created strong and weak acids that were both dilute and concentrated using the PhET Acid-Base simulation. They particularly liked the conductivity probe and the universal pH paper (just like we used in a lab).
