Day 30: Scaffolding Lab Reports

In the first marking period I usually share Google docs with my IS II students that gives them the outline for their lab reports. The documents are in a shared folder called IS II – NO EDIT. They copy the document, rename it (following our school’s file naming protocol), and share it with me so I can comment. As the year progresses the scaffolding will come off of the “building” a little at a time. The students print out a hard copy, score themselves on a rubric and staple that to the top of the report.
